Dr. Tim Smith
Senior Pastor
We’re blessed to have
Pastor Tim Smith and his wife, Sheree’,
serving and leading our church family.
Though they most recently come to us from Oklahoma, Pastor Tim is a proud native Texan, born in Mesquite and raised in Fairfield. His spiritual and academic journey has taken him through Navarro College, Blue Mountain College in Mississippi, Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Pastor Tim and Sheree’ recently celebrated 41 years of marriage and are marking 40 years of faithful pastoral ministry. Their ministry experience includes time spent serving churches across the Midwest, overseas, and throughout Texas — most recently spending 16 years ministering along the Texas coast and in East Texas.

Together, they have two grown sons, Kody and Kameron. Kody and his wife, Aimee, live in Georgetown with their two children, Reagan and Walker. Kameron and his wife, Lauren, reside in Richardson with their three children, Diana, Amelia, and Killian.
Sheree’ is a true cowgirl at heart and finds joy in all things farm and ranch life. Pastor Tim, a former college baseball player, shares in that love — he calls himself “cowboy-ish,” having been gradually converted by Sheree’ over the years. When he’s not serving the church, he enjoys time at the gym, a good game of baseball, and a strong cup of Black Rifle Coffee.

Their heart for ministry, family, and community is evident in all they do. We are grateful to have them shepherding our congregation with wisdom, grace, and a deep love for the Lord.
