Pastor Tim Smith

Dr Tim (Pastor Tim) & his wife, Sheree’, come to us officially from Oklahoma, though Pastor Tim is a native Texan. Born in Mesquite, his family moved to Fairfield between his sophomore & junior years of high school. Following graduation he went to Navarro College, followed by Blue Mt College in Mississippi, Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City & New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans. Pastor Tim & Sheree’ just celebrated their 41st Wedding Anniversary & are celebrating their 40th year in pastoral ministry this year. That service has included several years in the Midwest as well as overseas. Prior to the past 4 years spent in Oklahoma they served 16 years in Texas split between coastal & east Texas.

Pastor Tim & Sheree have two adult sons, Kody & Kameron. Kody & his wife, Aimee, live in Georgetown with their two children, Reagan & Walker, while Kameron & his wife, Lauren, live in Richardson with their three children, Diana, Amelia, & Killian.

Sheree’ is an avid cowgirl & loves everything about the farm. Tim is “cowboy-ish,” having been slowly but surely converted by Sheree’. A former college baseball player, Tim enjoys time spent in the gym, at the ball field, & a good cup of coffee (preferably Black Rifle) wherever he can get it.
